Tim Harvey

QOSTC Executive Director

Tim is honored to have called Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club his home since 1985 and has been proud to have worked alongside so many wonderful fellow staff members amidst some of the most special members, clients, and vendors any Club could claim as part of its corporate family. For many of those years, Tim has served as Executive Director simultaneously while working within our “Elite” junior tennis and private lessons programs. Tim has a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the University of Maryland; a Masters in Motor Learning from the University of North Carolina, and a B.S. from the College of William and Mary. Tim was formerly a college tennis coach, recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Professional Tennis Association Professional of the Year, USTA Maryland Maury Schwartzman Junior Development Pro of the Year, served on many State and Regional Boards of Directors and Committees relating to tennis, and was one of 4 Head Coaches for the United States Olympic Festivals leading up to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and has retained his certification in the United States Professional Tennis Association for over 37 years. Fun Fact: Tim worked his way thru his collegiate years teaching SWIMMING in his backyard pool in a little “company” he founded called “Strokes Unlimited” whose T-shirt remains part of his collection!

Jeff Parker

Tennis Instructor | Tennis Administrative Assistant

Jeff has been an avid tennis player and student with our coaching staff for many years here at QOSTC. After 3 years of volunteer coaching with our junior programs, Jeff joined our coaching rotation to assist with our junior programs, as well as our adult clinics and drills.. Jeff grew up in Montgomery County and ran a family-owned business before getting into the finance industry. He appreciates the family vibe here reminds him of running his family business. His favorite tennis memory was traveling to Barcelona with his brother Jarett in 2018 to train on the red clay at the Sanchez Casal Tennis Academy, then onto Paris to sit court-side for the French Open Final (where they cheered Rafa on to victory!) Once a year, Jeff travels to Hilton Head Island to spend a week training with a former tour pro, where he looks to improve his own game and bring some new training ideas back to his tennis student at QOSTC. He looks forward to seeing everyone out on the court and helping you with your tennis game!
