Tim is honored to have called Quince Orchard Swim & Tennis Club his home since 1985 and has been proud to have worked alongside so many wonderful fellow staff members amidst some of the most special members, clients, and vendors any Club could claim as part of its corporate family. For many of those years, Tim has served as Executive Director simultaneously while working within our “Elite” junior tennis and private lessons programs. Tim has a Ph.D. in Sport Psychology from the University of Maryland; a Masters in Motor Learning from the University of North Carolina, and a B.S. from the College of William and Mary. Tim was formerly a college tennis coach, recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Professional Tennis Association Professional of the Year, USTA Maryland Maury Schwartzman Junior Development Pro of the Year, served on many State and Regional Boards of Directors and Committees relating to tennis, and was one of 4 Head Coaches for the United States Olympic Festivals leading up to the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and has retained his certification in the United States Professional Tennis Association for over 37 years. Fun Fact: Tim worked his way thru his collegiate years teaching SWIMMING in his backyard pool in a little “company” he founded called “Strokes Unlimited” whose T-shirt remains part of his collection!
