Summer 2 Session Begins for Tennis

With only one full month left of summer, we have started to prepare for our annual transition into the indoor season. But let’s not forget…this means there are still more than 30 days left to enjoy some promising rays of sunshine! We encourage you to make the most out of your remaining summer, whether that be traveling to your favorite vacation spot or signing up to try out our highly accredited tennis program. As a friendly reminder, the new Summer 2 session for all junior tennis clinics began earlier this week, and will be running through until the end of August (28th). Please make sure that you register for your desired program PRIOR to attending any clinics, and this can be done by calling the front desk (301-948-3116) or by going through our website (qostc.com). Additionally, it has been announced that Session 3 was the final session for group swim lessons this summer, and our swim program will likely resume on a regular schedule closer to sometime this fall.

Get Ready to Grub!

Last weekend was the final QO Otters event of the season, and it was a HUGE success! Not only did we have clear skies and warm temperatures, but a special appearance by the NOMZ Food Truck helped to ensure that no member or Otter was left on an empty stomach. With a hefty number of pre-orders, the friendly staff at NOMZ was definitely put to work. Nonetheless, they were extremely eager to serve our patrons, and we have already coordinated their return in two weeks! For this upcoming weekend, we have TWO of the most sought-after food trucks in the DMV coming to our facility! On Saturday July 30th, Boombas Kitchen will be making an appearance to provide fresh subs and fried egg rolls (amongst plenty of other dishes) from 12pm to 6pm. The following day, Sunday July 31st, the one and only Pop-up Poutine will be stopping by from 11:30am to 2pm, and is a great opportunity for those looking to try Quebec’s native snack…or just to enjoy some macaroons. We would be thrilled if you could join us and help to show our guests a warm QOSTC welcome! Make sure to follow us on Instagram (@qostc) to catch all future food truck updates.
