Summer Tennis Programs are in Full Swing!

Not only are all Junior and Adult clinics continuing into the summer, but this week was our first week of our new Tennis Training Programs (similar to our previous Tennis Camps). Specifically, the Kidz 10 and Under, Junior Tennis, and Elite Tennis Training programs all offer various degrees of technical and competitive drills/coaching for ages 6-18 on a weekly basis. Players have the option to participate for the full or half day, with flexibility given where possible for those with busy summer schedules. For further information or registration questions regarding any of our tennis programs, please email the QOSTC Front Desk (info.qostc@gmail.com). While it may not be solely applicable to our tennis patrons, we know that many will be very excited to learn that for the first time in QOSTC’s history, vending machines are being delivered next week to the facility. It is understood that this is not a viable solution to the removal of the previous Snack-Bar, yet it still shows that a thorough effort is being made to ensure that the customers and community that visit our facility will be provided for in the meantime. In case you haven’t already seen, three giant flatscreen TVs have already been installed on all floors of the main clubhouse. It is evident that many improvements are being made to the facility in an effort to ensure that patron experience and satisfaction is being kept in mind with every decision.

QO Otters Time Trials & Pep Rally!

Rain or shine – nothing could keep the Quince Orchard Otters from hosting their Time Trials this past weekend! Eligible swimmers participated in a multitude of different events in order to qualify before the swim meets against other teams begin in the coming weeks. Additionally, the Otters will be hosting a Pep Rally towards the end of this week, with food and beverages catered by Potomac Pizza. In other news, the QOSTC Swim Programs have resumed classes again after a two year long hiatus due to Covid-19. Currently, only Levels 1 through 5 are being offered. However, the demand for additional levels and times (as was prior) has certainly been heard, and it is expected that more options will be offered in the Fall. To conclude with this week’s newsletter, we wanted to remind you that QOSTC is also on Facebook and Instagram (@qostc). Make sure to follow our social media for the most up-to-date information regarding events, programs, and giveaways!
